Scarecrow Festival

The Scarecrow festival started in 2025 and takes place in May each year. All residents and groups around Agar Nook can enter the competition and those who do not live in Agar Nook or have space at the front of their property can place their scarecrow at the Community Centre.

During the festival the cafe becomes the scarecrow headquarters and is the place to buy programmes, buy refreshments and use the facilities.
